Amos and Hosea prophesy to Israel

In the days of Uzziah of Judah and Jeroboam II of Israel, Amos the shepherd of Tekoa and Hosea son of Beeri carried the word to the prosperous, unrepentant north: let justice roll down like waters (Amos 5:24); I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice (Hosea 6:6).
