Birth of Joseph
Rachel bore Joseph in Paddan-aram (Genesis 30:22-24). His birth year, 1745 BC, follows from Genesis arithmetic: 30 at his exaltation (Genesis 41:46) plus seven years of plenty and two of famine make him 39 when Jacob arrived at 130 (Genesis 45:6, 47:9).

22Then God remembered Rachel. He listened to her and opened her womb, 23and she conceived and gave birth to a son. “God has taken away my shame,” she said. 24She named him Joseph, and said, “May the LORD add to me another son.”
