Cain murders Abel
Cain, angry that the LORD accepted Abel's offering and not his own, murdered his brother in the field and was driven out as a wanderer, yet marked by God against vengeance (Genesis 4:8-15). Scripture places it before Seth's birth (Genesis 4:25), so before 3874 BC; no closer date is given.
