Jesus was crucified at Golgotha under Pontius Pilate, darkness fell from the sixth to the ninth hour, and he cried with a loud voice and yielded up his spirit (Matthew 27:45-50).

The cry from the cross and Psalm 22
On the cross, Jesus cried out the opening words of Psalm 22, and the Gospel accounts echo other lines from the psalm as the crucifixion unfolds.

For the choirmaster. To the tune of “The Doe of the Dawn.” A Psalm of David. My God, my God, why have You forsaken me? Why are You so far from saving me, so far from my words of groaning? Matthew 27:46 and Mark 15:34 quote Psalm 22:1, while John 19:23-24 says that the division of Jesus' garments fulfilled Scripture, using the wording of Psalm 22:18.

The rulers gather against the Anointed One
The believers quote Psalm 2 and identify Herod, Pontius Pilate, the Gentiles, and the people of Israel as those who gathered against Jesus, God's Anointed One.
Psalms 2:1–2
Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together, against the LORD and against His Anointed One:
Psalm 2:1-2 describes nations and rulers gathering against the LORD and His Anointed One; Acts 4:25-28 quotes those words and names the rulers and peoples who conspired against Jesus in Jerusalem.

Into Your hands I commit My Spirit
At the moment of His death, Jesus calls to the Father with the words of Psalm 31, committing His Spirit into the Father's hands.
Psalms 31:5
Into Your hands I commit my spirit; You have redeemed me, O LORD, God of truth.
Psalm 31:5 says, "Into Your hands I commit my spirit"; Luke 23:46 records Jesus praying those words in a loud voice immediately before He breathes His last.
Explicit fulfillment
Thirst and sour wine at the cross
John says that Jesus spoke of His thirst to fulfill Scripture, and then records that He was given sour wine, as Psalm 69 describes.
Psalms 69:21
They poisoned my food with gall and gave me vinegar to quench my thirst.
Psalm 69:21 says that vinegar was given to quench the sufferer's thirst; John 19:28-29 introduces Jesus' thirst with an explicit fulfillment statement and records the sour wine lifted to Him.

They will look on the One they pierced
After recording that a soldier pierced Jesus' side, John cites Zechariah's words about looking on the One who was pierced.
Zechariah 12:10
Then I will pour out on the house of David and on the people of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and prayer, and they will look on Me, the One they have pierced. They will mourn for Him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for Him as one grieves for a firstborn son.
Zechariah 12:10 says that the house of David and Jerusalem will look on the One they pierced; John 19:34 records the spear thrust, and John 19:37 presents Zechariah's words as Scripture connected with what happened.
