Daniel's final vision by the Tigris
After three weeks of mourning, Daniel saw a radiant messenger beside the Tigris and learned of conflict involving Persia, Greece, and the kingdoms that would follow. The vision closed with resurrection, final judgment, and the promise that Daniel would rest and rise to his inheritance (Daniel 10:1-12:13).

1In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia, a message was revealed to Daniel, who was called Belteshazzar. The message was true, and it concerned a great conflict. And the understanding of the message was given to him in a vision.
