David's sin with Bathsheba; Nathan's rebuke
While Joab's army besieged Rabbah, David took Bathsheba and arranged Uriah's death; Nathan's parable brought the king to confession, and the LORD put away his sin (2 Samuel 12:13). The Ussher record places the Ammonite war context at 1035 BC.
📖 2 Sam 11:1
1In the spring, at the time when kings march out to war, David sent out Joab and his servants with the whole army of Israel. They destroyed the Ammonites and besieged Rabbah, but David remained in Jerusalem.
