The parable of the dishonest manager
Jesus told of a manager who acted shrewdly when called to account, then taught His disciples to be faithful with worldly wealth and with what belongs to another. He concluded that no servant can serve both God and money (Luke 16:1-13).

I am too weak to dig and too ashamed to beg.
