Elihu speaks after Job's three friends fall silent
Elihu waited because the others were older, then spoke because the three friends had condemned Job without answering him and because Job had justified himself rather than God. He defended God's justice, described ways God instructs people through suffering, and called Job to consider God's works (Job 32-37).
