Ezekiel eats the scroll and is appointed watchman
God gave Ezekiel a scroll filled with lamentation and told him to eat it; it tasted as sweet as honey. The prophet was then appointed as a watchman responsible to warn the wicked and the righteous when God spoke to him (Ezekiel 2:8-3:21).
