Jerusalem's unfaithfulness portrayed
Ezekiel portrayed Jerusalem as an abandoned infant whom God rescued, adorned, and joined to Himself, but who used His gifts in persistent unfaithfulness. After exposing her sin and judgment, God promised to remember His covenant and establish an everlasting covenant (Ezekiel 16:1-63).
