Ezra confesses the people's unfaithfulness
At the evening sacrifice Ezra fell on his knees and confessed the nation's guilt, remembering that God had granted a remnant and a little revival. As he prayed and wept, a great assembly joined him, and Shecaniah called the people to covenant faithfulness (Ezra 9:5-10:6).
