Haggai and Zechariah stir the people to rebuild
Haggai exposed the people's care for their own paneled houses while the LORD's house lay ruined, and Zechariah called them to return to God. Zerubbabel, Jeshua, and the remnant obeyed, feared the LORD, and resumed the work (Haggai 1:1-15; Zechariah 1:1-6; Ezra 5:1-2).
