The cloud lifts; Israel departs Sinai

The cloud above the tabernacle directed Israel's encampments and journeys. On the twentieth day of the second month in the second year, the cloud lifted and the tribes departed Sinai in their appointed order (Numbers 9:15-10:36), 1490 BC.
