Jeremiah buys a field during the siege

While confined during Jerusalem's siege, Jeremiah bought his cousin's field at Anathoth and sealed the deed before witnesses. The purchase testified that houses, fields, and vineyards would again be bought in the land (Jeremiah 32:1-15).
