Jeremiah visits the potter and breaks the jar

At the potter's house Jeremiah watched a spoiled vessel reshaped, illustrating God's authority over nations. He later broke a clay jar before Judah's elders and warned that Jerusalem would likewise be shattered because of persistent idolatry (Jeremiah 18:1-11; 19:1-15).
