Job and his friends begin their first exchange

Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar each argued that suffering follows wrongdoing and urged Job to seek God; Job answered each of them, asking for honest instruction while maintaining that their explanations did not account for his case. Job desired to present his cause before God and asked whether a man who dies will live again (Job 4-14).
