Jonah preaches to Nineveh

Jonah fled from the LORD's command, was swallowed by a great fish, and then preached that Nineveh would be overthrown. The people repented from the king downward, and God relented from the announced disaster; the book closes with God's compassion for the great city (Jonah 1:1-4:11).
