Israel crosses the Jordan
The waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark, and Israel crossed on dry ground into the land, raising twelve memorial stones at Gilgal (Joshua 3:14-17, 4:19-24), in 1451 BC, forty years after the Exodus.
📖 Joshua 3:1
1Early the next morning Joshua got up and left Shittim with all the Israelites. They went as far as the Jordan, where they camped before crossing over.
