Paul writes 1 Thessalonians from Corinth
Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy addressed the Thessalonian believers after Timothy returned with news of their faith and love. They thanked God for the church's endurance, urged believers toward holiness, and comforted those grieving the dead with the hope of the Lord's coming (1 Thessalonians 1:1-10; 3:1-13; 4:1-5:24). Timothy and Silas joined Paul in Corinth during this ministry (Acts 18:1-11).
