The rich man and Lazarus
Jesus told of a rich man who ignored a poor man named Lazarus at his gate. After death their conditions were reversed, and Abraham told the rich man that his brothers already had Moses and the Prophets, whose testimony was sufficient to call them to listen (Luke 16:19-31).
