The covenant and law at Sinai

In the third month after leaving Egypt, Israel camped before Sinai, where the LORD spoke the Ten Commandments and Israel entered covenant, sprinkled with the blood of the covenant (Exodus 19:1, 20:1-17, 24:7-8), 1491 BC.

1In the third month, on the same day of the month that the Israelites had left the land of Egypt, they came to the Wilderness of Sinai.
