Twelve spies search the land of Canaan

Moses sent twelve leaders from Kadesh to explore Canaan for forty days. They returned with the land's fruit, but ten emphasized its fortified cities and giants while Caleb urged Israel to go up and take possession (Numbers 13:1-33), 1490 BC.
