Uzzah dies during the first attempt to move the ark
David set the ark on a new cart and brought it from Abinadab's house. When the oxen stumbled, Uzzah reached out and touched the ark and died; David stopped the procession and left the ark with Obed-edom for three months (2 Samuel 6:1-11).
