Uzziah's pride leads to leprosy
Uzziah sought God and became powerful, but after growing strong he entered the temple to burn incense. When the priests confronted him, leprosy broke out on his forehead; he lived isolated until death while his son governed the palace (2 Chronicles 26:3-5, 16-23).

1All the people of Judah took Uzziah, who was sixteen years old, and made him king in place of his father Amaziah. 2Uzziah was the one who rebuilt Eloth and restored it to Judah after King Amaziah rested with his fathers. 3Uzziah was sixteen years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem fifty-two years. His mother’s name was Jecoliah; she was from Jerusalem.
