Jesus shows mercy to a woman caught in adultery
Scribes and Pharisees brought Jesus a woman caught in adultery and tried to trap Him with a question about the Law. After her accusers departed, Jesus told her that He did not condemn her and commanded her to go and sin no more (John 7:53-8:11).
