The Messianic Line

Follow the line Scripture records from Adam through Abraham and David to Jesus. The path to David follows Genesis, Ruth, and Matthew; after David, Matthew's and Luke's sequences are shown separately in the order of descent toward Joseph.

This first genealogy view follows the Messianic line. It presents the names in Scripture and links them back to the biblical text and related timeline events; the wider family tree of tribes, households, and priestly lines will grow from this foundation.
